Trainee Dairy Technologists will finish the course with the skills and knowledge to carry out a Technician role to a high standard. Throughout the interview process and the course itself, it is essential that the critically important core Eden values are instilled into our students. As the course has a wide range of modules across different areas, students will take stronger interests in some subjects than others. As a result we have seen recent Eden graduates go into roles such as Quality Manager, Process Team Leader, Lean Co-ordinator and Cheese Development Technologists.
Eden students join as full time salaried staff. Starting salary is a very competitive at £19,000 and Arla will pay all tuition fees and college accommodation. Salaries on completion of the course will vary but many of our graduates will earn between £35,000+ in their first positions.
Opportunities are available to Top-Up to a full BSc degree and MSc at selected universities.
