Pork with Mozzarella Cheese Cutlet

Ingredients

  • Porkloin - 8 slices (pounded into 1/4 inch thick piece)
  • ARLA PRO Mozzarella Cheese - 1/2 inch
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Egg - 2 pieces
  • Bread Crumbs - 3 cups
  • Salt & Pepper - To taste
  • Cooking Oil (for deep frying)
  • Ketchup - 1/4 cup
  • Worcestershire Sauce - 1 tablespoon (Alternatively, use Japanese Soy Sauce)
  • Gochujang - 1 tablespoon
  • Herbs - As garnish
  • Togarashi - As garnish

Procedure

  1. Gently pound pork loin into an almost paper thin size.
  2. Slice a piece of ARLA PRO Mozzarella Cheese and wrap with your pounded pork loin.
  3. Wrap in plastic and place it on a chiller for an hour.
  4. Remove the plastic and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Dredge in flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  6. Repeat dredging to double the coat of your breading.
  7. Fry in a 300-320°F oil until the coat is golden.
  8. Mix ketchup, japanese soy sauce, gochujang, and a pinch of salt & pepper as sauce.
  9. Pour the sauce over the pork cutlet.
  10. Garnish with herbs and togarashi spice.
